I am so behind on everything this holiday season, right on schedule. I need to shop for gifts, plan a huge Christmas feast for family, make sure the house is clean for the big guy’s arrival, and keep a few small humans alive in the midst of all of that. Adulting can be too difficult sometimes and Momma needs a cocktail to calm her nerves, amirite?!

Or maybe you need something to keep calm when spending so much time with family while you are locked indoors this winter.
Enter the Whiskey PomPom. Simple and delicious. Pomegranates are in season now and were the inspiration in creating a pomegranate and whiskey cocktail (with a hint of citrus) to help you celebrate Christmas, Hanukkah and New Year’s combined.
The Whiskey PomPom
4-5 oz pomegranate juice
2 oz whiskey
1/2 oz Cointreau
juice from 1/2 lemon
Fill a lowball glass halfway with ice.
Pour all ingredients into the glass and stir gently.
Enjoy.
Garnishing with a jingle bell is optional.
