Rosemary Lemon Ginger Gin Cocktail. A clean cocktail great for your summer evening.

Almost any fresh herb tastes delicious when infused in honey. Add club soda or ginger ale, your favorite vodka and ice to this simple syrup for a delicious take on a moscow mule!

Rosemary Lemon Ginger Gin cocktail is a wonderful summer clean cocktail that is easy to make with ingredients from your pantry. A great cocktail to try with those with low tolerance for most cocktail drinks

Ginger and rosemary always go well together. Like Batman and Robin. Or chocolate and … chocolate.

Use a strong ginger beer and your favorite vodka (or swap it out with whisky!) OR substitute club soda to create a non-alcoholic version!

cheers

This cocktail was created for Valley Outreach and their Feed the Valley Fundraiser Event. Valley Outreach is a community-powered nonprofit located in Stillwater, MN (my hometown). They provide food, clothing and personalized support to people who need help. Every year they help thousands of people by providing:

  • Easy access to nourishing food
  • Clothing for the whole family
  • Resource and application support
  • Case management support based on individual need
  • Emergency financial assistance

As part of their response to the COVID-19 pandemic, they provide hundreds of families healthy and delicious food through their drive-up service model. All are welcome at Valley Outreach. People can return as often as they need food.

Truly, organizations like Valley Outreach need our support. The current pandemic and social justice issues have created such a need for kindness and generosity.

Guess what! This year’s Feed The Valley event is virtual. Which means…you can hang out with me (I’m a host for this event ;)) even if you are in another state!

  1. I agree! This is one of our earlier cocktails and since then, we have made all sorts of simple syrup. It’s an absolute favorite! And rosemary is the perfect ingredient for fall and winter. Yum!

  2. I know this is an old post, but instead of just adding the sugar to cut the dry, you could always make a rosemary simple syrup for this drink. I absolutely adore making herbed simple syrups; some of my favorites are lemongrass and basil/lime. I have never made rosemary simple syrup, but I will now! Can’t wait to try this cocktail, I LOVE gin!

It’s a hard job, but someone has to do it! I would love it if you would link this up to Tipsy Tuesday at Grey is the New Black!

I was looking for the cocktail recipe, but I keep getting a 404 “Page Not Found” error, when trying to find it? I’m SO disappointed. I recently discovered how much I love a good Mint Bailey (which I’m finding it impossible to replicate, but which contains lemon, gin and mint), and this recipe sounds like a perfect parallel with lemon, gin, ginger and rosemary. Yum! Hope to get to see it soon!

I love finding new cocktail recipes and yours looks delicious! I’ll be trying it poolside this summer!

  6. hahaha; Marisa, you always crack us up!!! Seriously, your comments are absolutely our faves :) And it really is refreshing. I make this drink MUCH STRONGER than Janel does, she likes to just barely taste the gin in it. And it’s one of those drinks that is really good either way.

Well, I was going to ask who did the quality checks on the drinks but you answered my question. But I did notice that the photo at the end was a little blurry and skewed. NO WAIT!! That’s me looking at the photo through my wine glass. Oops must have sipped a little too much! Great recipe – from one lush to another I’ll have to try it although I rarely drink the hard stuff. It really looks refreshing.
